The National Institute for Art History (INHA)

An institute for the history for art and heritage studies

The National Institute for Art History (INHA) was created in 2001 for the purpose of consolidating and promoting research in art history and heritage studies.
Its main mission is the advancement of scholarly research and international cooperation in the field. It sets up research and educational programs as well as activities for the dissemination of knowledge that serve both art historians and the general public.
With its library, the INHA also provides a unique collection of resources and documentation in this field.
The Institute is run jointly by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the Ministry of Culture.
